This procedure involves removing a previous implant and reducing the height of the nasal dorsum to correct an overly high or droopy nose, restoring natural balance and contour.
Implant Puncture
When a hard implant is placed too close to the nose tip, the pressure can thin the skin, potentially leading to a visible protrusion or even a hole. In such cases, revision surgery must be performed with extreme care—using only cartilage to reconstruct the nose tip safely.
In Case of Inflammation
Inflammation may present with symptoms such as swelling, redness, pain, and fever. If these symptoms occur severely around the nose, the implant must be removed and prompt treatment is necessary. In such cases, we perform revision surgery using the patient’s own rib cartilage for safe and effective reconstruction.
